Its blade is also made of 1.5mm-thick British CS80 steel that holds its shape well while cutting. Its handles are also made of beechwood, though they’re long, open rods as opposed to the enclosed handles on the Lynx 3-Foot saw.

The first 5" of the blade are smaller, starter teeth. Slight rocker curve allows for smooth action. Designed for one-man operation, with a special 6" long screw-on auxiliary handle for two-hand usage. Both handles are made of beech. Best for wide diameter trunks. The Great American is a quieter, greener, and safer option than gas powered chainsaws.
